Comment of the Day

Joanna O'Leary wrote about her favorite retro sodas, inspiring readers to chime in with their own picks. We found one comment, from Bibulb, especially intriguing:

While it's not THAT retro (although it's been fifteen years now...) and it never made it to Houston, I enjoyed OK Soda. While I liked the marketing angle (disaffected hipsters, buy our soda ironically), the soda itself was actually pretty darn good.

We'd never heard of OK, which has a fascinating Wikipedia page. Apparently, OK is "still referenced in hipster crowds as an example of large corporations attempting to connect with youth markets and failing." From the OK page, we then had to click Wiki's "hipster" link. Basically, we just lost ten minutes of our lives. Thanks Bibulb!
