Today Mai Pham wrote about an awesome meal she had at Azuma Kirby, which included Live Lobster Sashimi. Commenter Laurie didn't see why the dish was prepared this way:
I enjoy sushi on a regular basis, but I am under the assumption that the raw fish I am eating is killed quickly and humanely. This presentation just seems unnecessary. Would it not be as delicious if it was killed in the back and then presented to you?
I have to admit, the dish makes me squirm, too. What about the rest of you? Will you be ordering Live Lobster Sashimi?
