Here on Eating Our Words, the commenters absolutely make the blog, and our Comment of the Day honors the best of the bunch.
Every day, we read you guys and pick the commenter, or commenters, who made us laugh, cry, salivate over something delicious, or think about things in a new way.
In return, we offer them a virtual White Russian.

Today Katharine Shilcutt wrote about the many, many events taking over the city during Houston Beer Week. Everyone seems pretty psyched for the event, but Sir Ron thought the logo was creepy, writing, "I just don't know why we need a lady dry humping a giant pint a beer (or the even more fetish-y: miniature lady dry humping a normal sized pint of beer)."
Gunsandtacos responded to him:
For your information, it is not a miniature lady and a normal sized pint of beer. It is a regular sized lady and a giant pint glass that actually holds 72 gallons of beer. We could not find a pint-glass sized lady, that's just ludicrous.
Thanks for clearing that one up, Gunsandtacos!
