Comment of the Day: The Felix Sushi Roll

Here on Eating Our Words, the commenters absolutely make the blog, and our Comment of the Day honors the best of the bunch.

Every day, we read you guys and pick the commenter, or commenters, who made us laugh, cry, salivate over something delicious, or think about things in a new way.

In return, we offer them a virtual White Russian.

Yesterday Katharine Shilcutt reported on progress over on Westheimer, where the old Felix location is being transformed into Uchi.

Reader Amy Garcia Leonhardt had an idea for a roll that would honor the spot's history:

I hope Uchi pays homage to Felix by naming a roll or dish after him. I can see it now. A roll fashioned with some sort of rice meant to look like Spanish rice, filled with Waguy beef instead of fajita meat, jalapeno and a very light foo foo sauce meant to look like queso...mmmmm!

Well, EOW Nation: Would you order this roll?
