Eat Steaks and Vote in the Houston Press and Heineken Light "Grill Marks" Competition

The Houston Press and Heineken Light have teamed up for "Grill Marks,” a competition in which readers can vote for their favorite participating steak night. From now through October 7, enjoy steaks paired with a Heineken light and then vote for the top contender at (The website also helpfully has a list of participating bars and restaurants and which night each steak night special is available.)

One voter will win the “Ultimate Steak Experience”: a trip to New York City and a steak night dining experience for two. Want more chances to win? Take a picture of your steak dinner at a participating location and post it to Instagram with the hashtag #BestTastingSteakNight.

Posting to Instagram also helps the restaurants in the competition. The location deemed to have the Best Tasting Steak Night, as voted on by readers, will receive The Houston Press Grill Marks award.
