I hope everyone is over the whole new year dieting thing by now, because the 12th annual Menu of Menus Extravaganza is coming up soon, and, as always, there will be a lot of food.
Join us on April 8, 2014, at Silver Street Station from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for samples from more than 40 area restaurants, and plenty of wine, beer and spirit sampling as well. Stella Artois is sponsoring, so you know there will be some great drinks to be had.
This year's event will also feature the 3rd annual Iron Fork competition, presented by Whole Foods Market. Chef Randy Evans of Haven will serve as "chairman" of the competition, which will pit two local chefs against each other in a battle to produce the best possible dish with secret ingredients. This year's returning champion, Kevin Naderi, of Roost, will be competing against a super secret (but very worthy) opponent. The dishes will then be judged by a panel of local experts.

General admission tickets include food and drink sampling and entertainment starting at 7 p.m.
VIP tickets include entry to the event at 6 p.m. (that's an hour early!), food and drink sampling, entertainment, and complimentary valet parking (until 6:30 p.m.).

Additionally, groups can purchase tables for $1,500, which include 10 VIP tickets to the event and a reserved table for 10 with two bottles of wine. The tables are in prime view of the Iron Fork competition, which means you'll get to see all of the action without the achy feet or strained necks.
We anticipate having about 40 participating restaurants. As new restaurants confirm, we'll be updating the website. Keep checking back to see if your favorite will be there.
Please note that no one under the age of 21 will be allowed at the event. No infants, no kids, no teenagers. Sadly, no dogs either.
