I hope everyone is over the whole new year dieting thing by now, because the 12th annual Menu of Menus Extravaganza is coming up soon, and, as always, there will be a lot of food.

This year's event will also feature the 3rd annual Iron Fork competition, presented by Whole Foods Market. Chef Randy Evans of Haven will serve as "chairman" of the competition, which will pit two local chefs against each other in a battle to produce the best possible dish with secret ingredients. This year's returning champion, Kevin Naderi, of Roost, will be competing against a super secret (but very worthy) opponent. The dishes will then be judged by a panel of local experts.
