The Urban Harvest Farmers Market at Discovery Green is a great place to take your kids. My daughter Stella and I have been going a lot lately. There's the Houston's Hottest Donut cart, which sells these mini donuts that they fry to order while you watch - so greasy and delicious.
Then there's the music, Juice Girls awesome appleade organic juice and Trentino's amazing pistachio gelato. We can waste an entire afternoon here playing on
the grass and talking to all the interesting vendors. It really is tons of fun.
If you're lucky, you might catch Cap'n Rick playing his 12-string acoustic guitar. You can yell, "Play Margaritaville!" to him, and he will.
