Every year we bring you a guide to the best meals and deals of Houston Restaurant Weeks, and this year with more restaurants participating that ever before, we had a heck of a time choosing our best bets. We've scoured every menu for the most interesting dishes, largest quantities of food and best values, and we've compiled this list to help you navigate the multitude of eateries vying for your patronage.

Houston Restaurant Weeks benefitting the Houston Food Bank kicks off August 1, so more restaurants will be added to the roster up until that time. You can keep enjoying the special meals any time participating restaurants are open through September 1.
Here's how the prices and donations work:
Two-to-three-course lunch menus are $20; $3 goes to the Food Bank Three-course brunch menus are $25; $4 goes to the Food Bank Some three-to-four-course dinners are $35; $5 goes to the Food Bank Some three-to-four-course dinners are $45; $7 goes to the Food Bank
The more you eat, the more other people get to eat as well. It's a win-win.
Be sure to read the "How It Works" page on the Houston Restaurant Weeks website before you go for information on reservations, Open Table and splitting meals.
And, as always, remember: Though you might be getting a great deal on your dinner, the servers are getting paid the same. Please tip accordingly.
