First up: Foie Gras Friday at the bus’s brick-and-mortar on Bellaire, featuring the "The Dean" – a house-ground burger topped with foie gras mousse, pickled Texas plums and baby arugula – for $22; and a pile of Foie Gras & Fries – hand-cut fries topped with seared foie gras, green onions and maple-horseradish aioli – for $17. Get both specials from 11 a.m. 'til they run out!

Head to the Heights beer bar for a pop up Bagel Brunch featuring a selection of freshly baked bagels from Julia Doran (pastry chef at upcoming restaurants Hunky Dory and Bernadine's). In addition to classic lox and cream cheese, head chefs Richard Knight (Hunky-Dory Tavern) and Graham Laborde (Bernadine's) will be creating combos inspired by the cuisine of their restaurants. Look for combos like The Hunky Dory Bagel, a plain bagel with chicken liver mousse and “everything” pickled red onions, as well as beer specials from Shmaltz Brewing Company's He'Brew line of Kosher beers – including Genesis Ale and Messiah Nut Brown.

This Best Damn Food Truck Festival is back and better than ever. Your ticket (offered for $36 in advance) includes all samples from more than 35 food trucks, including fan favorites Smoosh Cookies, Taqueria La Macro, and Happy Endings. You can also expect live music and a great time.

Head to Rice Village’s  oil, vinegar, wines, and spirits shop to get your wine, cheese, and chocolate on. Sample the newest creations from Chocolate Harmony and creamy, aromatic cheeses paired with boutique wines from Rosinka Wine & Cheese Shop, as well as VOM FASS delicacies. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
