September’s Untapped Music & Beer Festival will be here before you know it. Get ready for the big event with this Free Preview Party at Karbach Brewery. There will be no additional charge for the entrance, just regular tasting prices. Young Mammals and Catch Fever will be rocking the Biergarten, and Untapped Festival staff will be on site giving away schwag, free tickets and other cool stuff. You’ll also have the chance to purchase tickets with no fees.

The Sugar Fairy’s next Saturday morning bake sale will feature chef Andrew Lewis, the pastry chef of big-name restaurants Uchi, Uchiko and St. Philip. Needless to say, you can expect this one to be seriously tasty. Lewis’s wakey bakey treats will be on sale from 10 a.m. until they sell out.

More than a dozen Houston-area food trucks will be surrounding the parking lot behind Galway Hooker Irish Pub, Giulietta Sociale and Lincoln Bar + Kitchen for a food truck fiesta. Expect live music and plenty of eats available to purchase. Entrance is $5 at the door or free for a like on Facebook

Houston Funk Fest 2015 @ Firehouse Saloon

Enjoy funky sour wild beers and music you can funk to at the 2015 Funk Fest. More than 80 wild, sour and farmhouse beers will be on hand alongside food trucks, funky cheeses, and live music and soul from The Journey Agents and DJ Muskratch. Tickets are available for $55 in advance (or $65 at the door) and include a taster glass, eight  three-ounce samples, a concert, funky cheese and one badass time. Additional drink tickets will be available for $5 for eight more three-ounce samples.
