LTO Holiday Turkey Sandwich at East Hampton Sandwich Co.

East Hampton Sandwich Co., 907 Westheimer, 4444 Westheimer, is now serving its LTO (limited-time-only) sandwich, The Holiday Turkey. Made with cinnamon spiced black cherry chutney, fried razor onions, hot roasted turkey breast, organic spinach, cranberry cream cheese with garlic sage aioli, it has all the holiday goods.

Seasonal special at JINYA Ramen Bar

JINYA Ramen Bar’s newest Chef’s Special is a Spicy Meatball Ramen, available through the end of February at all locations. The flavor-packed bowl is prepared with chicken broth, spiced beef meatballs, bean sprouts, green onion, bok choy, seasoned egg, JINYA original chili seasoning and thick noodles.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape at Bistro Provence

Bistro Provence, 13616 Memorial, will celebrate a night with Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a five-course feast and holiday tribute to a famed Rhone Valley wine beginning at 7 p.m. Enjoy courses such as salmon blinis, lobster ravioli in lobster bisque sauce, small greens with smoked duck magret and walnut oil, boeuf Bourguignon and chocolate surprise paired with selected wines from Chateauneuf-du-Pape, the historic village in the southern Rhone Valley. Holiday Lunch at Backstreet Café

Backstreet Café, 1103 South Shepherd, will be hosting a special three-course holiday lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dine on choices such as duck spring rolls, sherried wild mushroom soup, red corn chicken enchiladas, bucatini with shrimp and warm bread pudding with cardamom-cinnamon ice cream. 

A Suntory Tasting Event at Izakaya

From 7 to 8:30 p.m., whiskey enthusiasts can taste through some of Suntory’s best whiskies at Izakaya, 318 Gray. Included in the tasting will be a flight of Yamazaki 12, Hibiki Harmony and Hakushu 12, plus a Suntory Toki Hi Ball, tasting pour of Toki and light bites from the kitchen. There will also be a toy drive benefiting Houston Children's Charity. Space is limited and the event is $65/person. Reservations are required and can by made at [email protected] or 713-527-8988.

EaterPass Launch Party at Field & Tides

3rd Annual St Arnold's Naughty List 32 Tap Takeover at Conservatory

Saint Arnold brews will be taking over the taps at Conservatory, 1010 Prairie, for this all day holiday event. Get tastes from the Hogmobile (Art Car aged in Whistlepig Whiskey barrels) to a Chardonnay barrel-aged Boiler Room with Vardrei Brett. The event runs from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Saturday, December 22

Gingerbread Afternoon Tea at Quattro

Guests are invited to join Quattro at Four Seasons Hotel, 1300 Lamar, for a gingerbread-themed afternoon tea with pianist from noon to 4 p.m. (with slots at noon and 2 p.m.) In addition to traditional tea offerings, kids can enjoy arts and crafts activities including ornament and cupcake decorating and gingerbread house building. Cost is $45 for children ages six to 12 and $65 for adults (includes prosecco); complimentary for children five and under.

Saturday and Sunday

Brunch with Santa at La Table

La Table, 1800 Post Oak, will host Brunch with Santa on Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Chateau. Guests are invited to celebrate the holiday season with food and activities for the whole family (including gingerbread house decorating and photos with Mr. Clause), plus a special family-style brunch menu featuring signature favorites like Orange Brioche French Toast. Brunch with Santa is $55 per person and includes one complimentary mimosa for adults and one gingerbread house per child.

Santa at Saint Arnold Brewing Company

Santa is coming to the Beer Hall at Saint Arnold Brewery, 2000 Lyons, from noon to 3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Skip the mall and bring the kids to the iconic brewery, where you can enjoy real beers and they can enjoy root beers along with free photo ops with Santa Claus (no camera will be set up, just snap away). BARC will also be on-site with its adoption trailer on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
