Looks Like Sausage, Tastes Like Shrimp

The taquitos de brochetta ($15) appetizer at Churrascos (2055 Westheimer, 713-527-8300) always goes fast. The charbroiled shrimp have a fabulous, smoky flavor; they're topped with grated chontaleno cheese, which is similar to queso fresco and, when melted, helps bind everything together. Four come to an order. When they quickly disappear, don't be surprised.
