Who wouldn’t want to try a dish called chilpanยญzingas? The dish ($9.25) has been around almost as long as the original Ninfa’s (2704 Navigation, 713-228-1175). It consists of lightly fried corn empanadas stuffed to overflowing with a finely chopped, delectable mixture of smoked ham, onions, mushrooms, cheese and chiles, and topped with queso fresco. Two come with a serving, along with charro beans, a timbale of yellow rice and refried black beans.
