Pretzel-Wrapped Hot Dogs at The Ginger Man

Just the other day I was fantasizing about how amazing it would be to find a bar that serves exceptional beers on tap and has pretzel-wrapped hot dogs. Then I stopped by The Ginger Man (5607 Morningside Dr., 713-526-2770) and found just that -- a huge sausage encased in a dark, golden-brown pretzel.

Two foods that go perfectly with beer are rolled into this one delicious dish. Dip it into some spicy mustard and chase it down with a good German pilsner, and you have just landed in hot dog fantasy land. When you bite into the plump sausage and pretzel and the spicy mustard hits the back of your tongue, it all dances on your taste buds and gives you a warm feeling.
