This week's interesting Snackshot comes to us courtesy of Gary Wise and Filipiniana.
From the photographer's description:
"Pork cooked in blood, served on traditional cheese bread roll. Delicious, and not what you'd think!"
Dinuguan and other Filipino delicacies like fried fish on rice in chocolate (a.k.a. champorado) can be found at Filipiniana, at 9671 Bissonnet, on the far outskirts of west Houston's Chinatown.
Remember to submit your own photos (of food or anything else) to the Houston Press Flickr Pool. We'll choose our favorite food photo each Monday to be featured here on Eating Our Words.
