It's that time of year again, folks.
Across the country, Christmas trees are going up, lights are being hung and cookies are being baked. And here in Texas, we're enjoying one of our favorite holiday traditions: tamaladas!
For many of us here in Houston, December isn't December without tamaladas, or tamale-making parties, followed by a delicious feast. Of course, you could let someone else do the cooking for you and chow down on delicious tamales at the Houston Press's annual Tequila and Tamales fiesta!
Next Tuesday, December 10, join four of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in town at Pearl Bar for delicious tamales paired with tequila drinks to get in the holiday spirit.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. four restaurants will be slinging tamales and boozy beverages to the first 150 people in the door, who will then get to vote on their favorite food and drink. There will be two winners--one for tequila and one for tamales.
