Great news, non-morning people! On Saturdays and Sundays, this old-school Tex-Mex café serves breakfast all day long. That means you can take down gooey and cheesy breakfast enchiladas, huevos rancheros, and chorizo con huevo tacos (on handmade tortillas) no matter what time you roll out of bed. Lunchier offerings like menudo and caldo de res -- a Mexican beef stew that is a weekend special -- are sure to aid your hangover, as are the agave wine margaritas.
2. Shepherd Park Draught House Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3. p.m.
Any brunch entrée -- from a Shipley's glazed "donut waffle" and over-stuffed breakfast burrito to spicy sausage, biscuits, and grits -- can be had for $8 at this popular brewhouse. And for another $6, you can sip on on bellinis, mimosas, and sake bloody Marys by the pint. They had us doughnut waffle.
