Super Secret Pop-Up Brunch @ Southside Espresso Saturday, 8 a.m. 904-C Westheimer

Well, it's not so secret anymore, and we can't help sharing the news about this pop-up brunch with chef Gabe Aguilar at Southside Espresso. The menu features a variety of sweet and savory dishes. Aguilar will prepare manchego, roasted red pepper and portobello mushrooms with sautéed spinach and a honey balsamic glaze; Parmesan and Italian speck waffles with smoked salmon and a poached egg hollandaise with lemon beurre blanc sauce; raspberry, basil and brie-stuffed puff pastry; and pain au chocolat with Belgian chocolate. You'll definitely need a nap after this.

Killen's Barbecue Pop-Up @ Killen's Barbecue Saturday-Sunday, 11 a.m. 3613 E. Broadway, Pearland

It's baaaaack. The pop-up meals at Killen's Barbecue are finally back after a brief hiatus. Chef Ronnie Killen will be serving up barbecue at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday until there's no more left. So if you've been craving some of Killen's tender brisket, ribs, sausage and side dishes of beans and potato salad, then you better get to Pearland early this weekend. Normally the pop-ups have taken place on the west side of the building, which is soon to become Killen's Barbecue (opening in December-ish), but now they will be on the east side of the building -- don't want anyone to get lost.

Cocktail Frock Sale @ Double Trouble Caffeine & Cocktails Sunday, 12-6 p.m. 3622 Main, Suite D

Double Trouble invites you to go back in time during its Cocktail Frock Sale this Sunday. From 12 to 6 p.m., the bartenders will serve classic cocktails while DJ Twinkletoes plays old-skool tunes. Pair those cocktails with some sweets from the Bad Girl Bake Sale, too. Vintage vendors, including Vida Antigua Vintage and Yoko Vintage, will be at the event to sell clothing and luggage.

Wine Club Pick Up Party @ Haak Vineyard and Winery Sunday, 5-8 p.m. 6310 Avenue T, Santa Fe

Haak Vineyards has expanded its menu and has some new wine for guests to sample during the Wine Club Pick Up Party. You don't have to be a member of the wine club to enjoy this special dinner and party on the patio, although tickets cost $20 for non-members as opposed to $15 for members. The vineyard will offer wine samplings at 5 p.m., followed by a gourmet burger-bar dinner where you get to build your own burger. Top your beef patty and Kaiser bun with everything from chili con carne, sautéed onions and mushrooms to bacon, barbecue sauce and pico de gallo. The burgers will be served with a side of potato salad and mini crudité cups of seasonal veggies and ranch dressing. Did we mention the night includes bottomless wine? The vineyard will also release its latest wine creation, The Mellow Rose of Texas.
