Sadly, the promising West Ave hopeful Nara will close its doors after dinner service this Saturday due to a landlord dispute. Though we're sure you'll be able to see more of chef Donald Chang's incredible talents in the future, this will be the last time to get a taste of everything that made Nara so delicious.

The Craft Beer Bash @ Caddy Shack Bar & Grill Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. 1809 Washington

Chicken & Beer Texas is bringing free chicken and craft beer (until it runs out) to the Caddy Shack this Saturday. Chef Boi Chops is frying up the birds while brews from Southern Star, No Label, and Buffalo Bayou flow. Also flowing? Live beats and general good vibes. RSVP for free entry.

Super Beef Sunday @ Saint Arnold Brewery Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 2000 Lyons

Come to this second annual Super Bowl BBQ event, where CorkScrew BBQ and Louie Mueller Barbecue will be at the brewery serving their finest 'cue to fill your belly before the big game. Of course, there will also be delicious Saint Arnold beer, which you'll be able to enjoy from the commemorative Super Beef Sunday pint glass you'll receive. Tickets are $50 and include tastings from both pitmasters, beer, and the pint glass. Wayne of Louie Mueller Barbecue will also have pre-wrapped whole brisket and beef ribs available for pre-purchase (at the time of your ticket purchase). The event runs until 2 p.m., but get there by 12:30 if you want a taste of everything the BBQ masters have to offer.

The newly expanded 8th Wonder Brewery is hosting a Super Bowl Smash featuring the big game on the TVs, Feges BBQ, the Eatsie Boys Food Truck, and the inaugural release of the 2015 Brewston Texas Pale Ale.
