I don't have children, so this analogy is about to make a lot less sense. But choosing photos for the Best Food Photos of 2010 slideshow was like trying to pick a favorite child. (I think.) Regardless, it was difficult.
Ever since we've started running slideshows with our weekly cafe reviews (like the photo above of shrimp and grits in the kitchen at the newly rebuilt Brennan's), we've been blessed with a bounty of beautiful photos, each one more mouthwatering than the last. And God knows we've covered our share of amazing food events and festivals this year, too.
