Say goodbye to 2018 and ring in 2019 with these special New Year’s Eve dinners and bubbly-fueled midnight at these Houston bars and restaurants. Ready to keep the party going? We’re also including festive brunches on New Year’s Day:

The bubbly-filled Montrose hotspot will offer special priced Dom Perignon all day long while supplies lasts on NYE. The celebration starts at 9:30 p.m. with music by DJ Cruize Control, festive party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. a’Bouzy will feature its all new dinner menu available all evening.

The chic and cozy Museum District restaurant will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., serving its Far East menu of small shareables and large plates.

Arnaldo Richards’ Picos will be ringing in 2019 in Studio 54 style, with a Dine and Disco New Years celebration. Beginning at 8 p.m., Picos will begin seating parties for a four-course dinner, open premium bar with specialty cocktails, complimentary cigar rolling station at the outdoor cigar lounge, premium spirits tasting bar, photo booth and dance floor. Tickets begin at $100 per person for bar and show only, $175 for the dinner, open bar and show, and $200 for the dinner, open bar, show and prime VIP seating.

B&B Butchers & Restaurant, 1814 Washington, 713-862-1814
Expect a fun, festive evening of steakhouse classics, drinks, party favors and live music and a DJ. The Kelley Peters Jazz Trio will perform in the downstairs dining room and singer Bob Luna and a guitarist will perform in the upstairs dining room during dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. Then DJ Wyatt Magnum will spin tunes from 10 pm. to 2 a.m. on the heated and covered rooftop patio. There is no ticket fee or prix fixe menu, and guests can order off the regular dinner menu. Guests can also pre-order champagne for the midnight toast when they make a reservation and receive 20 percent off the bottle.

Join B.B. Lemon on New Year’s Eve, with DJ Kyle Dubose spinning tunes from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the raw bar. There is no ticket fee or prix fixe menu, and guests can order off the regular dinner menu.

The charming restaurant is offering a four-course menu for $79 per person plus beverages, tax and gratuity. In addition to dishes such as seafood beignets, scallop crudo, duck confit, braised lamb and mushroom pasta, and caramelized baby pear tart with smoked toffee sauce, there will also be a complimentary sparkling cocktail toast at midnight and live music by Bob Chadwick.

BCK will host a “Throwback” New Year’s Eve celebration from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a multi-course prix-fixe menu for $45 per person, including with retro cocktails, Champagne toast and live DJ. Dinner includes one glass of house wine or one retro cocktail, with choices such as oysters Rockefeller, New York strip, voodoo salmon, and strawberry pop-tart crème brulee. BCK also will be open for brunch during the day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Chef Greg Martin helps ring in 2019 by offering a three-course wine dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Start with an amuse bouche of torchon of foie gras on toasted walnut and fig bread with cranberry mostarda paired with Brut Majeur Ayala Champagne NV, then choose appetizer, entrée and dessert selections paired with delightful French wines. Highlights include creamy lobster bisque, classic veal osso bucco ravioli seared sea bass on zucchini latke and decadent mocha chocolate mousse. Pricing is $110 per individual with wine pairing, $79 per individual without wine pairing (excluding tax and gratuity).

Bistro Provence will present a special multi-course dinner to end an old year in French style, offering two-hour seatings beginning at 6 p.m. with an extensive menu focusing on one of France’s most beautiful culinary areas. The leisurely dinners can be reserved for 6-6:30 or 8-8:30 p.m. and conclude with complimentary glasses of Voirin Jumel NV Champagne with dessert. The cost is $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity. There is also an early bird option featuring a reduced version of the main menu at a reduced cost, with one-hour seatings beginning at either 5 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. The cost is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Bosscat’s New Year’s Eve celebration will include a four-course dinner menu with drink pairings for $75 per person, including a live DJ spinning all night and champagne toast at midnight. The dinner menu includes choices such as bacon-wrapped pineapple shrimp, braised short rib Oscar, crispy Gulf snapper and spicy grits, and tuxedo cake. Bosscat also will be open for brunch during the day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

New Year’s Eve is the last chance to pop some bubbly and toss back an oyster shooter at Danton's Gulf Coast Seafood & Steaks, as the Danton’s team will pack up and move locations and prepare to open the doors as Eugene's Gulf Coast Cuisine on January 1. On New Year’s Eve, each guest will receive a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival and enjoy live music from Blues 4-2. Owner Kyle Teas will toast to the new year and the new location of the family-run restaurant at 10 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to bop around Houston to find the perfect party before the ball drops. Reservations are required for the main dining space, but the oyster bar will be open seating.

This New Year’s Eve, Del Frisco’s will feature an indulgent prix fixe menu available for $150 per person, with dishes from shaved truffle Wagyu carpaccio and poached lobster bisque to butter cake and 45-day dry-aged New York strip. Add optional wine packages for $45 for your New Year’s toast. Del Frisco’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The French eatery will be offering a four-course menu for $85 per person. Dine on choices such as duck foie gras torchon, loup de mer, filet de boeuf “Diane” and dessert au chocolat.

Gather with friends and loved ones and ring in the new year with holiday specials and a live three-piece band, playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. At midnight, enjoy a sparkling toast and balloon drop. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m. and a kids menu will be available until 9.

Fig & Olive will ring in its first NYE in Houston with a celebratory White & Gold Party. The French Rivieran-inspired restaurant invites guests to celebrate in style with a special four-course prix fixe menu ($110), live DJs, flowing cocktails and more.

Enjoy a holiday feast featuring the full churrasco dinner menu. New Year’s Eve hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Dinner price all day. Children six and under are complimentary. Children seven to 12 are half price.

It's the first New Year's Eve at Georgia James, and the restaurant is celebrating in style. Join it for four baller courses of favorite dishes, plus a few surprises and supplements. Dine on oysters and house cured prosciutto, King Crab domes and seared foie gras, NY strip and boudain-stuffed quail, and desserts like strawberry Champagne panna cotta  and malted milk creme brûlée. Cost is $125 per person and reservations are accepted until 11 p.m.

The Grove will host a special three-course dinner to ring in the New Year, with reservations available from 5 to 10 p.m. Dine on choices such as local catch fritters, tomahawk pork chop with sage butter, and dessert trio. Cost is $45 per person and includes a glass of sparkling wine and valet.

Score a coveted table amid the intimate and elegant surroundings of Ristorante Cavour and savor a seasonal five-course NYE dinner from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Cost is $85 per person with a $45 optional wine pairing.

Executive chef Bobby Matos has put together a family-style, three-course menu for $49.95 a person. Enjoy Johnny cakes with caviar, crème fraiche and allium, a “Perfect greens” salad with vinaigrette, goat cheese fritters and soft herbs, and pick from appetizers like "good luck" duck and sausage gumbo or blue crab stuffed raviolis in spicy shrimp sauce with scallions. The entrée options are meant to be shared with the table, with choices including fried chicken with biscuits, pickles, butter and jam; blackened gulf fish; ‘shrimpy’ mac and cheese; wilted greens of the moment with toasted garlic and lemon; crawfish boulettes; and a Porterhouse supplement. For dessert, there is a Nutella or vanilla soft serve with saltine crumble, extra virgin olive oil and Maldon. The restaurant will be accepting reservations for this night only. Wine pairings will be available and there will be a $0.69 cent cheeseburger from 10 p.m. to midnight, plus a Champagne toast for the New Year’s count down.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with standout specials such as Perigord Truffle and Lobster Gnudi (ricotta dumplings filled with black truffle) or Strube Ranch Wagyu Beef en Croute (beef tenderloin baked in puff pastry). Guests can end their evening on a sweet note with Baba Au Rhum, a rum-soaked cake with pastry cream, and black cherry and orange flavors. La Table will be accepting reservations from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. in both Marche and Chateau.

The French and Mediterranean restaurant will be offering specially selected entrées to highlight the spirit of New Year’s Eve, offering treats including a half-dozen poached oysters in sabaillon Champagne with chilled duck sausage to start, and a chocolate sphere with citrus Champagne mousse to finish.

For $75 a person, Le Colonial is offering a three-course menu, where guests will choose one small plate, one large plate and one dessert. Highlights include Goi Du Du (papaya and shrimp salad) and Bo Kho Cari (braised pananag beef short ribs). A midnight champagne toast is being sponsored by Moët & Chandon.

Liberty Kitchen, multiple locations
All Liberty Kitchen locations will open regular hours. In addition to serving regular menus, the restaurants will feature Gulf Coast Alliance Chowder of Blue Crab, Shrimp and Oysters ($7 cup/$12 bowl), as well as an 8-ounce Pan-Butter Roasted Reserve Cut Filet Mignon ($58) with an optional half pound Alaskan King Red Crab Legs add-on ($19). For good measure, they will also serve bowls of Southern Black-Eyed-Peas, Bacon and Kale with Sweet Corn Hushpuppy ($5).

Hotel Alessandra’s award-winning Lucienne will offer a four-course New Year’s Eve dinner with two options per course (4:30 p.m. seating priced at $55 per person; 6:30 p.m seating priced at $75 per person; 9 p.m seating priced at $95 per person, formal or cocktail attire requested at last seating). Enjoy dishes such as beef consommé en croute, foie gras cappuccino, duck a l’orange and New York chocolate bowl drop.

The steakhouse will be open from 3 p.m. to midnight, offering a four course menu featuring Mastro’s signature iced seafood tower, your choice of soup, salad, sides and entrée including decadent selections like Twin Lobster Tails, Chilean Sea Bass, 12-ounce Filet, 16-ounce Alaskan King Crab Legs, and a lavish dessert platter – plus live entertainment and a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate 2019. Dine a la carte or try the Sightseeing Tour ($60 per person), One Fifth's version of a tasting menu. The restaurant is also adding another Sightseeing Tour menu option to better accommodate large groups: the First Class Sightseeing Tour ($75 per person) will be available through Tuesday, January 1. Accepting reservations until 11 p.m.

Ousie’s will be offering an extensive four-course menu of special dishes in its signature eclectic Southern style, as well as a special ala carte. Come early from 5 to 9 p.m. and enjoy dinner, then be home asleep by the time the Times Square ball drops in New York. Or come at 9 and stay to see the arrival of 2019 while enjoying picks from the same special four-course menu, music, party favors and a Champagne toast at midnight. This elegant steakhouse will be offering guests a pre-fixe menu, consisting of a choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entrée, vegetable and dessert (4 to 11 p.m. at the Galleria location and 5 to 11 p.m. at the Downtown location). Indulge in dishes such as jumbo lump crab cakes, lobster bisque, dry-aged ribeye and crème brulee. Cost is $109.95 per guest plus tax, gratuity and alcohol; or $99.95 per guest for reservations before 6 p.m. (must place order by 6:15 p.m.).

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, multiple locations
Ring in the new year with a three-course prix fixe meal, followed by a champagne toast in Bar 79 at midnight. The restaurant will be open from 4 p.m. to midnight and Bar 79 will be open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., and reservations are available up until 10 p.m. Dine on options such as lobster bisque, French onion soup, bacon-wrapped filet, NY strip, Perry’s famous pork chop, crispy skin wild red snapper, and white chocolate cheesecake. Appetizer and entrée complements will be available to order. For reservations 5:30 p.m. and earlier, dinner is $59.95 per person plus tax and gratuity, and for reservations 5:45 p.m. or later, dinner is $79.95 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Guests can enjoy specialty cocktails and globally inspired Southern food while counting down to 2019 with views of the Downtown Houston skyline.  Cost is $125 per person, including sparkling wine on arrival followed by a three-course tasting menu with wine pairings.

Located in the heart of Rice Village, this comfortable trattoria will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, offering its regular menu and nightly specials.

Quattro at the Four Seasons, 1300 Lamar, 713-276-4700
With one seating at 7 p.m., guests can enjoy a la carte dining or a four-course prix fixe menu ($135 per person with an option $60 wine pairing). The evening will include live entertainment, dancing, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.

Guests can enjoy a five-course NYE dinner, with selections ranging from octopus ceviche and grilled lamb rack to pan-seared snapper and carrot bread pudding. The special menu will be available for dinner service from 5 to 10 p.m. At midnight, City Centre will be featuring a fireworks show to ring in 2019.

Set in a century-old log cabin on an acre of beautiful grounds, Rainbow Lodge will be open on New Year’s Eve from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Guests can enjoy three courses from its full menu plus a glass of sparkling wine for $79 per person.

Ramen Tatsu-Ya will be open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Guests can get cozy with a steaming bowl of the shop’s best-selling bowl, the O.G., featuring pork bone broth that takes 72 hours to make, along with chashu, ajitama, wood ear mushroom and scallions.

The elegant steakhouse, seafood, and sushi restaurant will celebrate the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 with a special tasting menu of five courses ($135 per person with a two-person minimum). Begin with foie gras mousse, yellowtail sashimi and prime beef tataki; move on to Roka Akor’s signature wagyu kimchi dumplings and grilled pork belly with pickled radish and tarragon miso; enjoy a decadent sashimi platter, Alaskan King Crab in chili lime butter, and grilled corn in soy garlic butter; and follow with grilled Maine lobster in yuzu kosho butter and Japanese Miyazaki A4 Wagyu. Xochi will serve an a la carte brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 3 pm, then be open until 9 p.m. with its regular menu.
