Day of the Dead Dinner at Xochi

Guests are invited to celebrate Día de los Muertos at Xochi with a vibrant Day of the Dead Dinner featuring 400 Conejos Mezcal. The evening begins with a cocktail reception with passed bites at 6 p.m. followed by a four-course seated dinner at 630 p.m. Tickets are $135 and highlights include yellow fin tuna and habanero tatemado, confit duck leg with butternut squash puree and fig mole, beef short rib with confit potato and chichilo mole, and chocolate mousse with orange compote. Folks can also check out the festive celebrations at URBE, with a DJ, walk-up drink and food stations and more (tickets $85).
Day of the Dead Brunch at B&B Butchers

B&B Butchers will celebrate the Day of the Dead with a festive brunch featuring live music, themed decor, and drink and food specials to celebrate the departed, from the Ofrenda ($18), made with Tequila Añejo, Sweet Vermouth and Ango Bitters to Sopa Azteca ($16), Chicken Mole Enchiladas ($26), Chilaquiles ($16) and house-made Churros ($14). Dia de los Muertos at Verde Garden
Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with face painting, Folklorico dancers, live Mariachi performances, live DJs, festive photo opportunities and food and drink specials. Houstonians are also invited to contribute to Verde Garden’s special Ofrenda and bring in pictures of their loved ones or furry friends to be included on the altar.
Sando Pop-Up at Money Cat

Money Cat will host a Sando pop-up in celebration of National Sandwich Day. Enjoy Japanese-inspired sandos crafted by Chef Yeung, paired with a selection of Japanese coffee from Kohiko Coffee House, with highlights including the Money Cat Sando with chicken thigh katsu, the Egg Salad Sando, the Wagyu Sando and more.
Craft Pita X Eunice Collab at Eunice

Chef Rafael Nasr of Craft Pita and Chef Drake Leonards of Eunice are teaming up for a special one-day collaboration pop-up dinner celebrating Lebanese and Cajun culture. The two talents have crafted a coursed menu highlighting the influence of food and family on both Cajun and Lebanese cultures, including a welcome cocktail, wine pairings and courses including mezze, branzino and shrimp with and tahini jalapeño pecan sauce, jambalaya-inspired Lebanese chicken and rice and baklava bread pudding. Tickets start at $125 and a portion of proceeds benefit local non-profit, Sky High for Kids.
