Recipe for Success Foundationโ€™s Delicious Alchemy Banquet at Hope Farms

Recipe for Success Foundationโ€™s 19th annual Delicious Alchemy Banquet will celebrate Houstonโ€™s culinary diversity with an all-female chef brigade presenting ten courses against the beautiful backdrop of Hope Farms, 10401 Scott. Guests can start with botanical cocktails and twilight bites in the Cavnar Family Foundation Chefs Garden before taking their seats at a long “kings” table set for just 80 guests in the United Healthcare Foundation Gathering Barn. The evening runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and Tickets start at $2,500 per person.

Khushbu Shahโ€™s Pizza Party at Rosie Cannonball

Khushbu Shah, author and Food & Wine Magazine contributing editor, will take over Rosie Cannonball for an epic pizza party, featuring some of Rosieโ€™s signature dishes such as Focaccia di Recco alongside pizzas with Shahโ€™s signature Indian flair, and dishes from her new debut cookbook, Amrikan: 125 Recipes from the Indian American Diaspora. Each dish will be paired with creative cocktails and wine selections inspired by Amrikan. Tickets are $150 and include a full guided dinner service with pairings at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, November 13

Wine Dinner with Ray Isle at The Marigold Club

Executive wine editor of Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure (and Rice University alum) Ray Isle is celebrating his homecoming to Houston with a collaborative wine dinner at 6:30 p.m. Isle will take guests on journey through the worldโ€™s finest wineries featured in his latest book, The World in a Wineglass, as Marigoldโ€™s chef and partner Austin Waiter crafts a menu to complement the rare vintages and surprise selections picked by Isle and Master Sommelier, June Rodil. Tickets are $345.

Thursday, November 14

Bluefin Tuna Breakdown at Aya Sushi

Aya Sushi, 5407 Bellaire, is hosting a board-to-table fresh Bluefin Tuna Breakdown by chef Yoshi Katsuyama from 5 to 9 p.m. in collaboration with Suntory Beam. The chef will be filleting every part of the tuna, served with sashimi, nigiri, maki and more alongside complimentary cocktails and whisky tastings from House of Suntory. Tickets are $350 via Eventbrite.

Friday, November 15

Smoke and Sip at Lyric Market

From 6 to 8 p.m., Lyric Market, 411 Smith, invites cigar and cocktail fans to gather on its scenic terrace and enjoy a carefully curated selection of premium cigars from A1 Cigar Bar & Lounge, paired with handcrafted cocktails, classic and neat. Guests receive two hours of free parking with the purchase of a drink.

Saturday, November 16

Grand Opening Celebration at Dandelion Cafe Heights

Dandelion Cafe invites the public to a grand opening celebration of its newest location in the Heights, 611 West 22nd, this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees can enjoy family-friendly activities from face painting to balloon art alongside food and drink features. Attendance is free and folks can RSVP online.

Spain Uncorked at Barcelona Wine Bar

From 6 to 8 p.m., wine enthusiasts are invited to uncork a wine-fueled celebration of Spanish wines at Barcelona Wine Bar Montrose, 1731 Westheimer. Spain Uncorked will feature โ€œ30 insanely good bottles and the diverse flavors of Spain,โ€ alongside culinary bites from seasonal paella to passed tapas. Tickets are $65.

Craft Pita X Agnes and Sherman Shawarma Rotisserie Duck Collaboration

Longtime friends chef Rafael Nasr of Craft Pita and chef Nick Wong of the highly anticipated Agnes and Sherman (expected to open in early 2025) are collaborating for a one-evening dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Craft Pita West University location, 5172 Buffalo Speedway. Suite C. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal featuring a selection of mezze, shawarma spiced rotisserie duck breast with duck confit Lebanese rice and accoutrements, and jasmine milk tea knafeh. All three dishes blend Lebanese and Asian flavors. Tickets are $80 for two, available via ToastTab.

A Native Feast at Archway Gallery

From 6:30 to 9 p.m., Archway Gallery and chef David Skinner of Ishtia will host an incredible food journey through Indigenous culture in conjunction with Harold Joinerโ€™s Homeland: Random Musings of a Native Son, an exhibition of paintings and mixed media works inspired by his Southwestern homeland. The inventive five-course tasting dinner takes inspiration from the stories of chef Skinnerโ€™s Choctaw ancestors and will feature Indigenous ingredients. Tickets are $150.

50th Anniversary Texas Renaissance Festival

Back for its 50th anniversary, the Texas Renaissance Festival brings folks a medieval celebration of food and drink, shopping and entertainment, and enchanted fun. This weekend features a Barbarian Invasion theme alongside festival eats from turkey legs and mead to a two-hour dinner theatre Kingโ€™s Feast, plus special beer collabs with Saint Arnold Brewing Company and Karbach Brewing Co.

Kolache of the Month Marigold Club Collab at Kolache Shoppe

Kolache Shoppeโ€™s November Kolache Collab features a first-time partnership with Marigold Clubโ€™s chef partner Austin Waiter, offered Thursday through Saturday at the Greenway Shoppe and Friday through Sunday at the Heights shop. Dig into Duck ร  l’Orange kolache (Greenway & Heights), pairing a rich duck sausage with thyme infused orange jam and salted orange glaze. Or hit up the Pearland location to enjoy a Killenโ€™s Barbecue collab featuring Smoked Turkey & Gravy with Killenโ€™s smoked turkey, black pepper gravy and seasoned stuffing.ย
