Cinco de Mayoโ€”which marks Mexicoโ€™s victory over France at the Battle of Pueblaโ€”lands on a Monday this year. That means Houstonโ€™s turning the whole weekend into one big excuse to eat, drink and fiesta. From tequila-soaked brunches to mariachi-backed patio parties, the cityโ€™s bars and restaurants are serving up the vibesโ€”and the margaritasโ€”starting as early as Thursday. Hereโ€™s where to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Houston this year.

Axelrad, 1517 Alabama
Sip $5 house margaritas ($1 extra for flavored) all day on Cinco de Mayo, from 2 p.m. to midnight.

B.B. Butchers & Restaurant, 1814 Washington
Celebrate with limited-time Tex-Mex specials like Chicken Enchiladas de Mole, Chilaquiles and caramel-filled Churros, plus festive cocktails from Strawberry Margaritas and Strawberry Rose Ranch Waters to Espolรณn Palomas.

B.B. Lemon,1809 Washington
Guests can enjoy with $12 tequila cocktails served all day, including the Strawberry Margarita, Strawberry Rose Ranch Water, Espolรณn Paloma and the signature B.B. Lemon Margarita.

Tex-Mex favorites will be flowing all weekend long, with festivities running May 3โ€“5. Enjoy a DJ, tequila tastings, photo booth, festive dรฉcor and margaritas from satellite bars on Saturday and Sunday, plus live mariachi music on Monday. Tables are first-come, first-served.

Christianโ€™s Tailgate, multiple locations
Christianโ€™s Tailgates Heights and Midtown locations are both stops on Cinco de Mayo Pub Crawls on Saturday, offering $7 Hornitos Margaritas and $7 Hornitos Mexican Candy Shots. Plus, the Heights, Midtown, and Highway 6 locations will be serving crawfish on Cinco de Mayo.

Craft Pita, 1920 Fountain View, 5172 Buffalo Speedway
Craft Pita will offer $10 taco plates for one day only. Each plate includes three tacos โ€”falafel, chicken, or beef โ€”ย  served with rice pilaf.

For Cinco De Mayo, all six Cyclone Anaya locations offer specials all day, including two tacos for $5, $5 margaritas, live mariachi band performances, lunch specials and more.

Echoes, 900 Richmond
The music-inspired patio bar and kitchen will open on Monday andย live Latin-themed music, happy hour margarita pricing, tequila tastings and a special taco pop-up from Tacos Bomberos.

Escalanteโ€™s, multiple locations
All of Escalanteโ€™s seven Houston-area locations will have festive drink specials from Friday, May 2 through Monday, May 5. Enjoy cocktails like the Mint & Watermelon Margarita ($15), El Cadillac #5 ($16) and $6 Modelo Especial.

The Finn, 712 Main
Pop in for a festive Cinco de Mayo Block Party on The Finn Patio with Casamigos from 4 to 7 p.m., with festivities including flowing margs and a live mariachi band and DJ.

Flora Mexican Kitchen, 3422 Allen Parkway
FLORA goes big for Cinco de Mayo with a four-day fiesta from May 2โ€“5. Expect live entertainment, specialty cocktails and an epic patio party. The main bash is Saturday, May 3, featuring a live DJ, taco cart, satellite bar, mariachi band and free tequila tastings. All weekend, enjoy two exclusive margaritas and brunch with a live Spanish guitarist from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The party wraps Monday with all-day happy hour: $11 snacks like street tacos al pastor, $9 margs and wine, and $4 beers.

Heights & Co., 1343 Yale
Heights & Co. will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo all-weekend long with $7 Margaritas and $2 off Queso, plus an outdoor tequila bar on the patio

H-Town Restaurant Group
All four H Town Restaurant Group Mexican concepts โ€“ Hugoโ€™s, Caracol, Xochi and URBE โ€“ will celebrate all weekend long from May 2โ€“5. Guests can enjoy extended happy hour, live music and festive food and drink specials, including the signature Greatest Margarita Ever Sold for $18 (regularly $29) and $10 house margaritas featuring each restaurantโ€™s unique twist. Mix and match favorites like the Hugorita, URBErita and Xochirita at any location.

Houston Tacos & Margs Crawl
On Saturday, May 3, Washington Aveโ€™s best watering holes and kitchens invite folks for will thrilling fiesta-themed bar crawl. Expect tacos, margaritas and fun at spots like Sincerely Tipsy, Lincoln Bar, Clutch Bar and Sugar Room. Tickets start at $24.99.

Hungryโ€™s,ย 2356 Rice, 14714 Memorial, 5750 Woodway
Enjoy $5 frozen Mango Margaritas all-day Monday. If youโ€™re wanting to make the celebration a family affair, kids eat free all-day on Mondays with the purchase of an adult entree.

This Cinco de Mayo weekend, enjoy $8 street tacos with elote on the cob for $5 paired with drink specials including $5 margaritas and $3 Mexican candy shots.

Kazzan Ramen & Bar,ย 191 Heights
In honor of Cinco do Mayo, Kazzan Ramen & Bar is offering $8 margaritas all day, including the Japanese-inspired Matcha Margarita and Ume Margarita.

La Calle Tacos, 401 Gray, 909 Franklin
Celebrate with $5.99 Frozen Margaritas from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with flavors like Piรฑa, Fresa, Sandรญa and more.

Late August, 4201 Main
Late August will debut its Taco Omakase tasting menu, curated by executive chef Sergio Hidalgo and regimagining taco traditions through an Afro-Mexican lens. Each tasting will feature an optional wine pairing, carefully selected by Level 3 Sommelier Danny Davis to complement the taco lineup. The Taco Omakase experience will only be available for dinner. Reservations are available on OpenTable.

Leeland House, 2119 Leeland
The Cinco festivities kick off on Saturday and Sunday with food and drink specials including aย taco trio for just $12 during brunch, plus $8 Mango Mezcal Margaritas, Watermelon Grapefruit Palomas and Pineapple Daisies, $7 Yuzu Ranch Waters and more.

On Monday, May 5 from 5 to 8 p.m., Maximo is partnering with Houston icons like Joseph Boudreaux of Booโ€™s Burgers, Donkeeboy and Donkeemom, Throwback City and more for an epic Cinco de Mayo Party. No entry fee or RSVP is needed for guests to enjoy a menu collaboration featuring things like Smoked Pork Belly Hamburguesa, Baja Shrimp Torta, Margaritas, micheladas and beer features, and more.

Mexican Sugar Cocina, 3505 West Dallas
From May 1 through May 5, Mexican Sugar is throwing a five-day party to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Highlights include Tableside Margarita Carts on Friday, Nitrogen Margs on Saturday, and margarita and shot pairing plus live mariachi on Cinco.

Molinaโ€™s Cantina, multiple locations
From Friday, May 2, through Monday, May 5, Molina’s will be serving up premium margaritas for $8 all day. On Monday, May 5, mariachis will serenade guests at all locations from 6 to 8 p.m., and happy hour will run all day, including the legendaryย Molinaโ€™s Margaritas for $9.50 and Mexican beers for $4.50.

Monkeyโ€™s Tail, 5802 Fulton
Monkeyโ€™s Tail will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a two-day fiesta on Sunday from 2 p.m. to midnight and Monday from noon to midnight, featuring DJs and live mariachi, festive drink specials like the frozen Mango Basil Smash and a frozen Northside, and eats like Chango Burgers, Costra Burritos and tacos, and crawfish.

The Original Ninfaโ€™s, 2704 Navigation, 1700 Post Oak
Ninfaโ€™s has exclusive specials and live music on deck this Cinco.ย  At Ninfaโ€™s Uptown, enjoy drinks like the Uptown Mezcal Cocktail ($13) and Ninfaritas ($11), with a live Mariachi on Saturday, May 3 from 5 to 6 p.m. and a photo booth from 5 to 7 p.m. At Ninfaโ€™s on Navigation, sip on The Original Ninfarita ($11) and Navigation Margarita ($15), with live Mariachi on Sunday, May 4 from 2 to 3 p.m. and photo booth fun from 2 to 4 p.m.

Picos, 3601 Kirby
Picos is throwing a Sunday Funday outdoor party with a tent, DJ LilCBaby (noon to 3 p.m.) and tequila samplings; plus a live Mariachi band inside from noon to 4 p.m. and a Sunday brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Cinco de Mayo, Picos will continue the celebration with $10 margaritas (frozen, rocks, or shaker house margaritas) during lunch and an all-you-can-eat Pastor Cart for $21 per person.

Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House, 113 6th
The bayside oyster house is celebrating Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby at its Cinco de Derby event. Drink specials include $8 Old Forester Mint Julep, Woodford Spire, Spicy Ritas and House Margaritas, with fun including a DJ, decor, 360 photo booth, in-house giveaways and plenty of TVs to watch the race.

Real Agave, 1100 Louisiana
The upscale tequila lounge will feature specialty cocktails like the El Bendito with Tres Generaciones Plata Tequila, ginger beer, and jalapeรฑo for $14; plus dishes like Tuna Tartare on a blue corn tostada for $18 and an Oaxaca cheese Quesadilla for $10.

Sol 7,ย 1717 Allen Parkway
Sol 7 will offer a special Cinco de Mayo menu with highlights such as al pastor and carne asada tacos, Mexican-style shrimp ceviche tostadas, crispy quesadillas with spicy aioli, house-made guacamole and salsa, Mexican elote and fresh churros. Guests can also sip a Hornitos Flight of Cinco margaritas ($25), including a Paloma, spicy marg, smoky marg, original marg and a playful โ€œMexican Candyโ€ marg.

Sylviaโ€™s Enchilada Kitchen, 6401 Woodway, 1140 Eldridge
Both locations will offer $12 specialty margaritas like the Spicy Mangorita, Guava Paradise, and Flor de Jamaica, plus $5 ร  la carte enchiladas all day, including Puebla Enchiladas topped with house-made mole and cheese-filled Refugio Enchiladas with Sylviaโ€™s signature chili gravy, this Cinco de Mayo.

Taco Cabana, multiple locations
Taco Cabana location has debuted limited-time items and shareables in time for Cinco de Mayo, including the New Chicken Bacon Ranch Taco, a Cholula Rita and Cinco-ready bundles and catering specials.

Tacodeli,ย 1902 Washington,ย 1715 Post Oak
Folks can sip Tacodeli’s signature margaritas for $5 all day long this Cinco de Mayo.

Toca Madera,ย 1755 Allen Parkway
Toca Madera is turning up the heat for Cinco de Mayo weekend with fire dancers, Baile Folklorico, live mariachi and DJs setting the mood from May 2โ€“5. The high-energy Mexican steakhouse transforms dinner into a show with nightly entertainment and an extended happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m. on Monday.

Toro Toro, 1300 Lamar
This Cinco de Mayo weekend (May 2โ€“5), Toro Toro will celebrate with tequila and mezcal flights, plus daily happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m.

Verde Garden,ย 2817 West Dallas
Verde Garden is kicking off a three-day Cinco de Mayo celebration starting Saturday, May 3, with cultural performances, DJs, and food and drink specials all weekend long. Highlights include mariachi, folklorico dancers, a Paloma bar, and Sundayโ€™s Michelada and Cumbia and coffee bars. The celebrations continue with food and drink specials all day on Monday. Doors open daily at 11 a.m.

WILD,ย  2121 North Shepherd,ย 1609 Westheimer
WILD is celebrating Cinco de Mayo all weekend long โ€” from Saturday, May 3 through Monday, May 5 โ€”with tasty food and drink specials at both its Heights and Montrose locations. Swing by for $8 street taco plates, $10 craft margaritas like the Al Pastor and Strawberry Fields and $5 tequila shots, including the fan-favorite Mexican Candy.
