Whether you like your margs classic, frozen, spicy, or with a fruity twist, here is where to sip, savor and celebrate the unofficial official drink of Houston.
Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant, multiple locations
Guests dining in on National Margarita Day can enjoy $7.95 Premium Margaritas, including the signature El Jefe Margarita and popular Platinum Hand-Shaken Margarita, Skinny Margarita, Raspberry Hibiscus Margarita and Berry Paloma Margarita.
Arnaldo Richards’ Picos Restaurant, 3601 Kirby
Picos will be celebrating National Margarita Day all weekend long, offering folks a discounted house margarita for $9 (or a grande for $18). From Friday to Sunday, Picos will also be hosting a variety of tequila brands and offering samples.
Axelrad, 1517 Alabama
Pop in for House Margaritas (Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime, Simple) for $5 all day.
Best Regards, 222 West 11th
For one day only, Best Regards is offering a $100 margarita flight featuring three expertly crafted margaritas, each made with the luxurious Don Julio 1942. The flight includes a Mezcal Margarita with Cucumber, Reposado Margarita with Spicy Blood Orange and Añejo Margarita with Honey and Saffron. Folks can also enjoy $10 original and spicy margaritas all day.
Crawfish Cafe, multiple locations
All margaritas will be $4 at all five locations of Crawfish Cafe in honor of National Margarita Day. Chase your spicy seafood plate of choice with a $4 margarita of your choice, from the classic Lime Margarita, fruit flavors including Peach, Watermelon, and Strawberry, or the Half and Half Margarita, a blend of any two flavors. Margaritas are served frozen.
Duck N Bao, multiple locations
The Sichuan house will shake up the Azalea Margarita, made with tequila, Triple Sec, pineapple and fresh lime for $5 (normally $10) in honor of the holiday.
Echoes, 900 Richmond
Echoes is partnering with Carabuena Tequila and Mal Bien Mezcal for a special Margarita menu. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Carabuena will lead an educational presentation about tequilas and offer lessons and tastings for its blanco, reposado, and anejo tequilas. Echoes will also have live Cumbia music throughout the night to go along with the tequila and mezcal margarita specials.
Eight Row Flint, 1039 Yale, 3501 Harrisburg
Both locations are celebrating National Margarita Day with specials and festivities. Eight Row Flint East End will feature $5 House Margaritas (normally $12), plus $3 21 Seeds floaters and Jell-O shots. Eight Row Flint Heights is serving up its signature margaritas all day long along with live Screenprinting by Inked Cotton starting at 2 p.m. and a local DJ spinning from 3 to 7 p.m.
FM Kitchen & Bar and PKL Social, 1112 Shepherd
Pop by FM Kitchen & Bar and PKL Social and enjoy $18 Frozen Margarita Flights featuring Camarena Tequila, with options like a Classic Margarita, Paloma, and Mango Chamoy Margarita. Plus, both spots will be offering $8 Frozen, Classic, and Skinny Margaritas, as well as $12 Classic and Spicy Lalo Margaritas.
H Town Restaurant Group
All of H Town Restaurant Group’s Mexican concepts – Hugo’s, Caracol, Xochi and Urbe – will offering “The Greatest Margarita Ever Sold” for $18 (usually $29) this National Margarita Day, featuring 25-year-aged Grand Marnier and wood-aged Anejo Tequila from Gran Centenario. House margaritas will also be available at all restaurants for just $10.
Heights & Co., 1343 Yale
Sip $7 classic margaritas all day long alongside a lineup of flavored margaritas, served in festive Space City glassware. Margaritas include the Jala-piña, Watermelon Cooler, Ancho Mezcal, St. Margarita, Agua Fresca and Sicilian Margarita.
Jethro’s, 95 Tuam
Jethro’s Cocktail Lounge will be celebrating from 1 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., featuring tequila and mezcal cocktails from Milagro tequila and Ilegal Mezcal for $12. Featured cocktails include the Cilantro Cucumber Margarita, the Plum Margarita, and the Guava Margarita.
Kazzan Ramen & Bar, 191 Heights Boulevard
Snag $8 Japanese-style margaritas all day, including the Matcha Margarita made with Silver tequila, lime juice, Domaine de Canton, coconut cream, and matcha powder; and Ume Margarita featuringTequila, Brandy Umeshu, lemon, Yuzu, Umeboshi, Agave, and Shichimi Togarashi.

The Local Bar will be celebrating National Margarita Day with a Margaritaville Party, rocking $5 Margaritas on the Rocks, $5 Mexican Candy Shots, $7 Frozen Mango and Strawberry Margaritas, and $8 Coconut and Spicy Pineapple Margaritas.

The buzzy new spot will host the Ultimate Margarita Experience on Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22 from 4 p.m. to close, serving up custom margaritas tableside. Guests can mix and match premium tequila, fresh fruit infusions, specialty salts, and their choice of rim garnish. In addition to the tableside experience, Mexican Sugar also offers specialty margaritas like the serrano-infused Machete, the hibiscus-infused Hibiscus, and the traditional Classico, plus Margarita Flights for $22.

Grab a rosy-hued Blackberry Margaritas frozen or on the rocks for $8 all day on Margarita Day, available for dine-in or to-go.

Monkey’s Tail is going all out, with mariachi from 5 to 6 p.m., a late-night DJ, a spin wheel for fun swag, and $7 margaritas and frozens during the Margs y Amigas happy hour, plus specials like Tommy’s Margarita ($5 first, $7 after), Hibiscus Mezcal Marg ($11), Cadillac Margarita ($15), and Santa Muerte ($11). Next door to Hungry’s in Memorial, NextDoor will be hosting its grand re-opening celebration on National Margarita Day, featuring $5 Margaritas on the Rocks, half off signature margaritas all day (Blackberry, Ginger, and Spicy Pineapple Margarita), and a $100 gift card giveaway.

Drink specials are available all day at both locations and include The Original Ninfarita at $7 happy hour price all day, $10 Uptown Margaritas (Cazadores reposado, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice and agave) and Navigation Margaritas (Patron silver, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and agave), and $15 Margarita Flights, frozen or on-the-rocks. On Saturday, February 22, Pitch 25 is celebrating National Margarita Day with refreshing margaritas for Houston Dynamo’s season opener against FC Dallas at 7:30 p.m. With doors opening at 11 a.m., the Watch Party will offer brunch until 3 p.m. and two massive screens to catch all the action.

From Friday, February 21 – Sunday, February 23, Houstonians can indulge in State Fare’s award-winning, $14 Honeydew Jalapeño Margarita, crafted with Tequila, jalapeño-infused Ancho liquor, lime juice, honeydew purée, and smoked salt. The special is available all weekend long at all three locations.

Travel around the world and make a stop in Mexico with the Underneath the Mango Tree ($13), a Mangonada ‘rita made with reposado tequila, passion fruit liqueur, chili liqueur, mango syrup, chamoy, lime juice, tajin and a chamoy straw.

The Bunker Hill outpost is offering classic Margaritas for $5 all day this National Margarita Day.
Verde Garden, 2817 West Dallas
Verde Garden is celebrating National Margarita Day with $14 margaritas starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 22. The hotspot features 12 specialty frozen margaritas, made-to-order— as well as 20 house cocktails, 60 classic cocktails crafted from a selection of more than 250 agave and Mexican spirits.
