April 20 โ€” better known as 4/20 and now National Munchies Day โ€” has long been celebrated as the unofficial holiday for cannabis culture, offering a great excuse to kick back, light up and chow down. Houston bars and restaurants are riding the wave, dishing out CBD-infused cocktails and stoner-approved snacks are exactly what your cravings ordered. Hereโ€™s where to sip and munch in Houston this high-liday.

8th Wonder, 2202 Dallas
Hit 8th Wonder on Saturday, April 19 for an early 420 Party.ย Houstonians can enjoy beer and cannabis beverages, mixed drinks and signature cocktails, a vendor market, crawfish boil from Clutch City Crawfish andย all-day performances by Dem Roots & Friends, Son Bayou and more.

Betelgeuse Betelgeuse, 2101 Washington
The Washington location is โ€œgetting liftedโ€ a day early, hosting a vibey vendor market on Saturday April 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. Folks can pop in for snacks, baked goods, 8th Wonder cannabis-infused sips and other stoner-friendly creations, plus โ€œall the weirdo magic youโ€™ve come to expect from us.โ€

Cheba Hut, multiple locations
Fans can visit their local Cheba Hut to indulge in their favorite Nug Subs for just $4.20 all day long. Choose between wheat, white or garlic bread for popular subs like The White Widow (with grilled chicken bacon, ranch and shrooms), or the Dank (with genoa salami, pepperoni, marinara and double the cheese). Visitors will also receive a free Cheba Hut-branded frisbee, and can accompany their Nugs with bites lie Loaded otโ€™chos and Krispy Bars.

Flying Saucer Downtown, 705 Main
From Friday through Sunday, Flying Saucer is celebrating 4/20 with munchies and more. Expect Girl Scout Cookie Flights, Terpene beers and fun.

Flying Saucer Sugar Land is celebrating with 4/20 Trivia on Thursday, plus a dank flight and food specials through the big day on Sunday.

The Mood Room Garden and Bar, 711 Milby
Over at The Mood Room, HoneySuckle is hosting a 420 Flower Hour from 2 to midnight, inviting the community to gather in a celebration of canna culture and connection. Expect live music, DJs, comedy, tasty treats and a day of elevated experiences. Tickets are $20 including one free drink, exclusive drink specials and access to the private event, with VIP access and perks for $55.

Post Houston, 401 Franklin
Post is serving up culture and flavor at its 4/20 event, MUNCHIZU: The Taste of Asia, a one-day celebration highlighting the rich food traditions of Korea, Taiwan and Japan, held in the X Atrium from 2 to 5 p.m.. Expect complimentary bites, live cooking demos and a jam-packed lineup of performancesโ€”from a Korean fashion show to a thunderous Japanese Taiko drum set. Tickets are $10.

Twin Peaks, multiple locations
Twin Peaks is celebrating National Munchies Day by offering a cure for that cotton mouth, with Liquid Marijuana shots starting at just $6 all day and cocktails running $8. The drink features Captain Morgan, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, melon liqueur and blue Curacao shaken and poured over ice then topped with pineapple juice and a dash of sweet and sour.

WILD, 1609 Westheimer, 2121 North Shepherd
The bud bar and kitchen is going full vibes for its 2nd annual 420 Backyard BBQ Bash, held at both the WILD Montrose and WILD Heights locations. Dig into smoked chicken, St. Louis ribs and loaded sides, plus infused sweets like cookies, brownies, and tres leches. Folks can also enjoy $5 Jell-O shots, deep discounts on edibles and tinctures and doorbuster prizes all weekend, with festivities kicking off at 11 a.m.
