29-95: Meat lovers rejoiced earlier this week when it was announced that Ronnie Killen of Killen's Steakhouse and Ricky Craig of Hubcap Grill are teaming up to open their own steakhouse together. Alison Cook reports that CK's Steakhouse will open on 19th Street in the Heights -- not far from the second location of Hubcap Grill -- after Killen's original plan to take over Stella Sola fell through.

The Woodlands Eats: Finally, TWE checks out a new Tex-Mex restaurant in a part of town that's not lacking for chips and queso. "With nearly 40 Mexican Style Restaurants in The Woodlands, it can take a long time to get around to all of them," TWE writes. Los Arcos, however, was not a standout, with TWE calling it "exceedingly mediocre."
