12 Days of Brunch at State Fare Kitchen & Bar
State Fare Kitchen & Bar, 947 Gessner, 15930 City Walk, 1900 Hughes Landing, continues its 12 Days of Brunch celebration, opening an hour early and rolling out its full weekend brunch menu on select days during weekday lunch hours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Upcoming dates include December 22–24, 26, 29–31 and January 1–2.

Free Family Christmas Festival at The Savoy
The Savoy, 4402 Emancipation, hosts its 4th annual Free Family Christmas Festival from 1 to 4 p.m., with real snow and sledding, a snow pit for younger kids, free photos with Black Santa, a massive toy giveaway with more than 1,000 gifts, kids’ free food, hot cocoa, face painting, live entertainment and an ornament-making station. Regular dinner service and festive cocktails continue after 4 p.m. And on Christmas night, folks can keep spirits bright with its Neighborhood Holiday Gathering, remaining open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Cakebread Cellars Wine Dinner at The Audrey
From December 26 through January 1, The Audrey, 9595 Six Pines, will host a four-course wine dinner in partnership with Cakebread Cellars for $99 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, featuring a curated lineup of seasonal dishes paired with standout wines. Enjoy a Napa Sauvignon Blanc with oysters, Chardonnay with seared diver scallops, Cabernet Sauvignon with truffle-crusted filet, and chocolate-covered strawberries with Taylor Fladgate 20-year port.

UH Vs. LSU: Pre-Game Brunch at Brennan’s of Houston
Fuel up before the big game at Brennan’s, 3300 Smith, where UH and LSU fans (and those in between) can enjoy live music from pianist Ben Childress and Texas-Creole favorites like snapping turtle soup, eggs brennan, bananas foster and Creole bread pudding. The Cougs and Tigers face off in the 2025 Texas Bowl at NRG Stadium, kickoff 8:15 p.m.

Afternoon Tea at The Lancaster Hotel
Guests heading to The Nutcracker at Houston Ballet or A Christmas Carol at Alley Theatre can make a day of it with Holiday Afternoon Tea at the iconic Lancaster Hotel, 701 Texas, in the heart of the Theater District. The festive spread features tea sandwiches, cranberry scones, seasonal patisseries and global teas, plus a complimentary tin of the hotel’s holiday spiced black tea. Afternoon Tea is served Saturdays and Sundays at noon and 2:30 p.m.

Sparkling Le Brunch de Funk at Brasserie 19
Folks can ring in the final brunch of 2025 at Brasserie 19, 1962 West Gray, with sparkling cocktails, brunch specials and beats by DJ GFunk. The fun runs from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Trill Burgers is going full anime with a limited-time SPY×FAMILY collab running through the end of the month at both the Montrose outpost, 3607 South Shepherd, and the newly opened Spring location, 6810 Louetta. Fans can dig into an over-the-top SPY×FAMILY Burger stacked with two smashed patties, American cheese, pickles, beef goulash, Lil’ Smokey sausage, a fried egg and sour cream. Through December, Turner’s, 1800 Post Oak , is opening its doors for a rare midday treat, inviting guests to slip in for a luxe holiday lunch that feels straight out of a vintage Christmas film, complete with martinis, poinsettias and live music warming the room.
