Pop-Up at Burger Bodega
The Bas’s Cheesesteaks pop-up window is back at Burger Bodega, 4520 Washington, slinging Philly-inspired sandwiches with thinly sliced halal ribeye, melty white cheese, mayo and optional grilled onions. Guests can customize with sweet, bell, hot or Italian long hot peppers, habanero aioli and ketchup. Grab them from 12:30 to 3 p.m. (or while supplies last). Pre-orders went live Friday, January 30 at 3 p.m., with pick-up on Monday from 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

Master Whiskey Tasting Series at Bayou & Bottle
Bayou & Bottle, 1300 Lamar continues its Master Whiskey Tasting Series, with two-hour sessions available by reservation with a welcome cocktail, four whiskey tastings and lite bites. Upcoming tastings include the Buffalo Trace Prohibition Selection on February 4 and Jefferson’s ocean-matured expressions on March 5.

Barbacana x EaDough Dessert Tasting at Barbacana
Downtown Houston’s Barbacana, 907 Franklin, teams up with EaDough Pastries & Provisions for an exclusive dessert tasting featuring a limited-time menu co-created by Pastry Chef Priscilla Treviño and EaDough’s Kripa Shenoy. Dishes include Ras Malai tres leches with whipped chantilly, pistachio concha with pistachio ice cream, traditional Italian bomboloni, and other collaborative sweets. Tickets are $65 per person.
Date Night at Saint Arnold Brewery
Saint Arnold, 2000 Lyons, has introduced a weekly Date Night on Thursdays, a guided experience hosted by storyteller Sophia Conner. The evening blends humor, craft, conversation and playful prompts, with themed crafts and prizes throughout.
Bumps & Bubbles at Vine Memorial
Vine Memorial, 7951 Katy Freeway is hosting Bumps & Bubbles, a seated caviar and champagne experience featuring three Altima caviars paired with champagnes from Schramsberg Rosé, Taittinger and Bollinger. Guided tastings are $75 per person and seating is limited.

Crawfish Season at The Pit Room
The Pit Room, 1201 Richmond, 10301 Katy Freeway, celebrates the return of crawfish season with seasoned crawfish by the pound for $9, a deluxe $13 per-pound option with corn, mushrooms and Andouille sausage, a Three Pounder for $36, and a Feast with three pounds of crawfish, veggies and sausage, two snow crab clusters and a pound of shrimp for $85. Get the mudbugs on the patio every Thursday and Friday after 1 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays starting at noon while supplies last.

Mardi Gras Brunch at B&B Butchers & Restaurant
B&B Butchers & Restaurant’s Mardi Gras Brunch promises gumbo, grits and good times, held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can enjoy crawfish beignets, chicken and andouille gumbo, Cajun shrimp and blue cheese grits and bourbon bread pudding, plus Hurricanes and cocktails like the French Quarter Crusta and Bramble Berry Sour. Yiddish Cooking Month at Kenny & Ziggy’s
Kenny & Ziggy’s, 1743 Post Oak, is celebrating Yiddish Cooking Month throughout February with a $45 three-course prix-fixe menu available for dine-in lunch and dinner. Get classic Eastern European deli dishes, from chopped liver, gefilte fish, and pelmeni soup to pastrami-stuffed chicken, old-fashioned cholent, and a selection of rugelach, babka, and New York cheesecake. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA, which preserves Yiddish language and literature.

Mardi Gras King Cake
In its sixth year supporting Sky High for Kids and childhood cancer patients at Texas Children’s Hospital, Common Bond offers traditional Cinnamon and Raspberry Cream Cheese King Cakes, DIY kits, and mini cakes. Preorder full-size cakes and donated kits by February 14 (72-hour lead time). Mini King Cakes, King Cake lattes, and select pastries are available in-store through February 17.
Josephine’s Gulf Coast Tradition, 318 Gray, celebrates Mardi Gras with a King Cake. available to-go or for dine-in. The in-house crafted King Cake ($28) feeds four people, with each cake containing the traditional hidden baby and featuring strawberry jam and cream cheese filling. Bridgerton-Inspired Flavors at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream
In celebration of Bridgerton Season 4, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is debuting two limited-edition flavors at Houston scoop shops and online. Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake launched January 15, a lavender-tinted sponge and custard treat with bright berries, inspired by the regal monarch. Earl Grey Crème Brûlée arrives February 12 in shops (online February 9), featuring fragrant Earl Grey custard with burnt-sugar candy crunch reminiscent of a torched crème brûlée.
