2. Hubcap Grill

Hubcap Grill is the place to grab a juicy and finger-licking burger before any sporting event. It's five blocks away from Minute Maid Park and totally worth the walk. You can't go wrong with the muffuletta burger topped with olive mix dressing, Swiss cheese and its special mayo sauce; the Sticky Burger with crunchy peanut butter, bacon and American cheese; or even just a regular cheeseburger. You'll definitely want to eat at the original downtown location before an Astros or Dynamo game, for sure.

1. MKT Bar

Inside Phoenicia Specialty Foods, you and your friends can munch on appetizers and small bites while sipping on your choice of beer, wine or cocktails at MKT Bar. Sometimes there are game-day specials for both the Astros and the Dynamo. Share a plate of crispy plantain chips, or artisan meats and cheeses, or order up a pizza with a variety of artisan toppings, like the Squashed Pizza topped with roasted butternut squash, roasted garlic, blue cheese, walnuts and arugula. If you'd rather eat after the game, MKT Bar is the perfect place for that as well. Especially if you want something sweet, such as its signature Royal Cake of dark chocolate mousse sitting atop a crispy hazelnut crepe on top of a praline cake. Yeah, that sounds amazing.
