Chef Tony Vallone and his team have put together the menu for his last Italian Regional Cuisine Dinner of 2014: Una Serata Milanese: an evening in Milan at Ciao Bello. The five-course meal -- which features four wine-pairings and classic Milanese dishes like branzino with mussels and fennel, oxtail-stuffed pasta en brodo, and osso buco with saffron risotto -- will be held Wednesday, November 5 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 per person (+ tax and gratuity). There is limited availability, so call 713-960-0333 to reserve your spot.

Have you ever fantasized about a running event where the water stations were replaced with BEER stations? Dream no more, because The Brew Mile is coming to Houston on Friday, November 7. Start by downing a beer at the Houston Sports Park at 7:30 p.m., then run 1/4 mile and repeat (beer, 1/4 mile run, beer, 1/4 mile run) until you've completed the full mile. Finish with a three hour open bar party, because why the hell not! Tickets can be brought $65 in advance (or $75 the day of) on their website.

The 9th annual Katy Wine Fest will be held at The Cafe at Brookwood on Friday, November 7 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Get tickets for $60 in advance (or $75 day of) to enjoy wine tastings highlighting wines from South America, a No Label Brewery beer garden, and light bites from some of Katy and West Houston's best eateries. Proceeds directly benefit The Brookwood Community and the Brookwood Center for Learning.

Get in the holiday spirit and learn How To Make Drinks for Your Holiday Party at Julep on Saturday, November 8 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Owner Alba Huerta and GM Kenny Freeman will be teaching 32 guests the secrets to making three of their favorite classic cocktails. Taste your creations, then leave the class with recipes and a house-made syrup in-hand. Tickets, which are $120 per person and include snacks, can be purchased at Julep. A second class will be held Saturday, December 8.

Get your tickets for the Urban Harvest Farmers Markets highly-anticipated Farm to Chef Pairings Dinner, held at Underbelly on Sunday, November 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event, which celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Urban Harvest's Eastside Market, will feature perfect pairings of hardcore farmers and local chefs like Chris Shepherd of Underbelly, Benjy Mason of Down House, and more.
