In honor of the 2026 Masters tournament, Killen’s Heights, 101 Heights, will serve a Masters-inspired menu during lunch Thursday and Friday, all day Saturday and at Sunday brunch, featuring smoked takes on tournament classics like a deviled egg salad sandwich, cold-smoked cheddar pimento cheese sandwich and more. Specialty drinks include a Dirty Arnold Palmer and “Tipsy Tiger,” with the tournament airing at the bar.

Josephine’s, 318 Gray, is nodding to Augusta’s most iconic bites during the tournament, including $2 egg salad sandwiches and $2 pimento cheese sandwiches alongside a featured Azalea cocktail.

Doke Concepts will launch its Chef’s Dinner Party Series this spring, a multi-restaurant dining experience spanning Lazy Lane, The Green Room and Heights & Co. Each evening begins with champagne and the first courses at Lazy Lane, continues with additional courses at The Green Room, and finishes with dessert cocktails and s’mores at Heights & Co. The series features guest chefs including Joseph Geiskopf on April 15, Kevin Fink on April 29, Louis Maldonado on May 13, Thomas Bille on May 26, and Ryan Lachaine on June 24. Reservations are available via via Lazy Lane’s OpenTable.

The 2026 Houston Art Car Parade and Festival hits the streets on Saturday, April 11, can folks who want the full experience can do so in the VIPit, the official viewing party and largest fundraiser for the festival. Taking place in Hermann Square at City Hall during the parade, tickets (starting at $250, $100 for kids) offer front-row views alongside complimentary bites from top local chefs and restaurants, cocktails, live commentary, pre-parade entertainment, kids’ art activities and swag bags, plus nearby reserved parking. This year’s lineup includes Barbacana, Chop n’ Blok and Local Foods.

Pico’s, 3601 Kirby, will kick off Taco Fest on Wednesday, April 15, running through the end of May and featuring rotating taco plates with three tacos starting at $8. Options range from ribeye, tinga de pollo and carnitas to chile relleno, tacos Ensenada and 72-hour crispy pork belly, plus seafood and vegan selections.

Barbacana, 907 Franklin, will host More Than a Riesling: Dive Deep into German Wines on Thursday, April 16 at 6 p.m., with Wine Director Mikey Fajardo leading a guided tasting of five German wines that highlight the diversity of the region, alongside light bites paired with each pour. Tickets are $75 per person and seating is limited.

On Thursday, April 16, Turner’s Cut, 811 Buffalo Park, will host a Revana Family Vineyard wine dinner, with a 6:30 p.m. reception followed by a seated multi-course dinner at 7. The set menu experience is $395 per person with limited seating available.
