Throughout January, restaurants across Rice Village are participating in Dine Out Rice Village, offering special prixรขย€ย‘fixe menus or featured items with a portion of proceeds benefiting Southern Smoke Foundationโ€™s work supporting food & beverage workers in crisis through emergency relief and noรขย€ย‘cost mental health care. Participating spots include Dโ€™Amicoโ€™s, Hamsa, Hudson House, Mendocino Farms, Miltonโ€™s and Navy Blue, each showcasing unique offerings for the month.ย 

Galveston Restaurant Week

All weekend long

Galveston Restaurant Week continues its island takeover through January 30, with prix-fixe dining across dozens of Galvestonโ€™s best kitchens โ€“ from Gulf seafood dinners to Third Coast brunch and lunch options. Participating spots will offer two- and three-course dinners ($20โ€“$60), two-course lunches ($10โ€“$30) and brunch menus ($10โ€“$40), with a portion of proceeds benefits local charities including the Galveston County Food Bank and St. Vincentโ€™s House. Katie’s Seafood House, The Fancy and Rudy & Paco are just some of the restaurants in this yearโ€™s lineup.

The 10th Annual Hops nโ€™ Hot Sauce Birthday Celebration returns, bringing together craft beer, more than 40 hot sauce and spicy vendors, food trucks, fun contests like hot pepper eating and spicy challenges, live music, a DJ and family-friendly activities with kids under 16 free. Tickets start at $10.
