Throughout January, restaurants across Rice Village are participating in Dine Out Rice Village, offering special prixรขยยfixe menus or featured items with a portion of proceeds benefiting Southern Smoke Foundationโs work supporting food & beverage workers in crisis through emergency relief and noรขยยcost mental health care. Participating spots include DโAmicoโs, Hamsa, Hudson House, Mendocino Farms, Miltonโs and Navy Blue, each showcasing unique offerings for the month.ย
Galveston Restaurant Week

Galveston Restaurant Week continues its island takeover through January 30, with prix-fixe dining across dozens of Galvestonโs best kitchens โ from Gulf seafood dinners to Third Coast brunch and lunch options. Participating spots will offer two- and three-course dinners ($20โ$60), two-course lunches ($10โ$30) and brunch menus ($10โ$40), with a portion of proceeds benefits local charities including the Galveston County Food Bank and St. Vincentโs House. Katie’s Seafood House, The Fancy and Rudy & Paco are just some of the restaurants in this yearโs lineup.

The 10th Annual Hops nโ Hot Sauce Birthday Celebration returns, bringing together craft beer, more than 40 hot sauce and spicy vendors, food trucks, fun contests like hot pepper eating and spicy challenges, live music, a DJ and family-friendly activities with kids under 16 free. Tickets start at $10.

Sushi and yakitori spot Doko is hosting a one-day-only Matcha Pop-Up in collaboration with Tomo Matcha. The Autry Park spot will transform into a vibrant matcha bar serving expertly crafted matcha drinks from Tomo alongside drink specials from Bar Doko, with service at the alleyway window and patio.
