Houston Oyster & SeaFest at Autry Park

Shuck your way through oysters and seafood from 15+ Houston restaurants at Autry Park,with drinks, live music and interactive exhibits rounding out the fun. Tickets start at $40, with higher tiers offering drink tickets or open bar access, and proceeds benefit oyster shell recycling and habitat restoration efforts. 

Wine Fest at Brenner’s on the Bayou

Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.

Brenner’s on the Bayou hosts its annual Wine Festival, a French-American Edition, from 1 to 4 p.m. Guests can enjoy curated French and American wines alongside live music and chef-driven bites including beef tenderloin skewers, mini beef Wellingtons, bacon-wrapped quail, smoked wings, charcuterie and a dessert station. Tickets are $150 or $250 for VIP, which includes early access at noon and exclusive wines, plus tax.

Tacos & Tequila Festival at Sam Houston Race Park

Saturday, 2 p.m. (1:30 p.m. VIP)

The Tacos & Tequila Festival returns to Houston’s Sam Houston Race Park, featuring a full day of 2000s hip-hop and R&B, tacos, tequila and interactive festival experiences. Three 6 Mafia and Fat Joe are the featured headliners; and the fun also includes craft margaritas, tequila tastings, Houston taco vendors, lucha libre wrestling, a chihuahua beauty pageant and art installations. Early bird tickets start at $49.

Houston Barbecue Festival at Humble Civic Center Arena

Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.

The 13th annual Houston Barbecue Festival brings 25+ of the city’s top barbecue joints together in one place, including 1701 Barbecue, Blood Bros BBQ, Fire Craft BBQ, Pinkerton’s Barbecue, Truth Barbeque and more. General admission is $80 and VIP is $150, which includes early entry at noon, a T-shirt and one drink ticket.  All tickets cover unlimited sample portions from all participating vendors.

Dumpling Supper with Mimi Cheng’s at Agnes and Sherman

Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m.

Agnes and Sherman teams up with NYC’s Mimi Cheng’s for a one-night Dumpling Tour collaboration Sunday, April 12, featuring an exclusive Crawfish & Shrimp Dumpling with Szechuan brown butter sauce by chef Nick Wong, plus Mimi Cheng’s Mimi Chicken with hot honey mustard and Mimi Pork with Benton’s bacon chicken jus. Dumplings come three per order and are served alongside Agnes and Sherman’s full dinner and drink menus.
