The 41st Annual Bayou City Art Festival Downtown, which took place on October 13 and 14, showcased the artwork of more than 300 artists from across the nation. Houston's high rises and city hall served as the backdrop for the thousands of pieces exhibited, ranging from photography to leather to pastels. This year's festival "Featured Artist" was Charlie Hardwick, a local artist known for his colorful concert posters. Festival proceeds benefit more than ten Houston nonprofit organizations.
