Both athletes and fans will remember the frigid morning weather of the Houston Marathon's 50th anniversary on Sunday, January 16. The winner of the women's marathon was American Keira D'Amato who broke the American women's record with a time of 2:19:12. The men's winner was James Ngandu of Kenya who ran the course for the first time and won with a time of 2:11:03.
