A Fistful of Soul (AFOS) was Houston's premiere '60s soul dance party.  It was an incredible and consecutive nine years of spinning the heaviest, grooviest, hip-shakin-est northern soul, mod R&B, and boogaloo 45s in the Bayou City. AFOS has been one of the largest and longest-running dance nights of its kind, and it will still live on as an annual party. The DJs promise to bring it back full-force. (Photos by Doogie Roux)
