Houston, Texas (December 28, 2016); Family triumphed over tradition. Led by Collegiate Hall of Fame Coach Bill Snyder, the Kansas State Wildcats topped the Fighting Aggies of Texas A&M by a score of 33-28 in the 2016 Advocare Texas Bowl. Myles Garrett, Trevor Knight, Josh Reynolds and crew fought to the end but came up short to the wily antics of Wildcat quarterback Jesse Ertz at NRG Stadium. K-State fans chanted "We own Texas" after the beating TAMU (they defeated all the Big XII teams from the State), however, they all have to go back to Manhattan...Kansas.
