Alt-Right Trolls Stirred Things Up, Resulting in Camo, Guns and Trump Supporters at the Sam Houston Monument
Alt-right trolls stole the name of the anti-fascist group Houston Antifa and launched an event page, "This is Texas" announcing a counter-protest rally. The scuttlebutt all revolved around the Sam Houston Monument at Hermann Park, with allegations of Confederate ties. So, even though Houston Press reporter Craig Malisow dug deep and discovered it was all a sham designed to piss people off, not everybody got the news, so we sent a photographer to see what would happen on the morning of June 10. Hint: lots of camo, Trump supporters and the bearing of arms.
