Houston, A Storm-Tossed 59 North Is Nowhere to Be on Sunday

Severe thunderstorms moved through the Houston Metro area with heavy rain, lightning, and wind earlier today. Traffic on 59 N from exit 130 on south was abruptly halted and remains at a stand still, after signage nearby along with utility poles and electrical lines covered the highway. Motorists and passengers were forced to sit and wait as emergency crews worked to clear the damage. (Photos by Doogie Roux)
