The temperatures were climbing, but that didn't keep hundreds of hungry Houstonians from coming out to celebrate the first ever Food Truck Festival from organizer Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce on June 17.
Tianna Hall (with The Houston Jazz Band) and Mighty Pretty Mixtape kept things hopping while guests noshed on the best from more than 20 food trucks, shopped at trendy fashion trucks and made for the shade with a variety of exhibitors.
From The Crêpe Machine to Chubbz Grubbz, and from Thrilla and Vanilla to KICPOPS, there was literally something for everybody at this food-centric event.
The eclectic food truck line-up also included: Boogies Chicago Style BBQ, Happy Baking, The Cajun Hot Spot Food Truck, Rita's of Houston Heights, Paleteria El Pibe, Yeti Sunshine, Mingo's Latin Kitchen, D'Lish Curbside Bistro, JIVE Juice Company, Cousins Maine Lobster, Yoyos Hot Dog, Pop Ups by Chef Evelyn, El Dorado Corn, Kurbside Eatz "kurb ur food enthusiasm", SMOOSH - Custom Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches, Bright Relish, Abu omar halal and Mi Cocina.
