Angered by President Donald J. Trump and Jeff Sessions for the recent announcement to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, protesters gathered at Houston's Irvington Park on Cavalcade and marched to Moody Park on Fulton. The September 16 March to Save DACA was organized by the Houston Socialist Movement, Brown Berets de TejAztlan, Mexicanos en Accions Patriotas, Organizacion Latino Americana Pro-Derecho Del Immigrante, Refuse Fassm-Houston and other local activists.
