In recognition of National Underwear Week, where we're encouraged to forgo the commando and embrace proper hygiene (just like mom told us), we're offering up a retrospective of some of our favorite underwear pics.
Local nonprofit Undies for Everyone is stepping up to the plate, and they'll be distributing 50,000 pairs of underwear to 14,000 students during the the Mayor's Back 2 School Fest on August 12, 2017.
Dessert Gallery Bakery & Cafe (3600 Kirby at Richmond) also is helping the cause by selling undies-themed cookies, as well as back-to-school cookies, with proceeds benefiting Undies for Everyone. This special runs through the month of August.
