Karbach Brewing Co. Donates Weekend Warrior Proceeds to Alkek Velodrome

Houston cyclist, Lawson Craddock, finished the Tour de France despite a broken shoulder blade and other injuries. He pushed through to raise thousands for the old velodrome where he trained and raced when he was younger. Karbach Brewing Co backed his efforts by donating proceeds from the Weekend Warrior brew to the Greater Houston Cycling Foundation, the nonprofit that operates Alkek Velodrome. This weekend's event was hosted at Karbach's biergarten with a live DJ set, a check presentation, and Texas Gold Sprint 'em stationary bike races. (Photos by Doogie Roux)
