In 2011, brothers Ben and Chris Williams picked up and continued the culinary tradition began by their great-grandmother, Lucille B. Smith. They continue to honor her by replicating some of her most famous recipes while embellishing others to create innovative takes on southern food classics. Lucille's is a tribute to a legacy of culinary excellence started almost a century ago. All of this creates a historic dining experience in the heart of Houston's Museum District. With a crowd of friends and family, Lucille's celebrated its seven-year anniversary Friday night. The occasion boasted live Prince Covers from Antonio Eye, soulful sounds by DJ Big Reeks, plenty to feast on, and more. (Photos by Doogie Roux)
