HOUSTON, TX - JANUARY 3rd The city's new mayor, Sylvester Turner, held his pre-inaugural celebration last night at Market Square park in downtown. The event had live music from several local acts, activities for the kids, and a fireworks show at the end. Turner gave a few words on what it meant to be the new face of the city and his hopes for the next four years.
