Meet the Humboldt Penguins

Cute as all get out, the Humboldt penguins seem to like their new digs at the Aquarium Pyramid at Moody Gardens, which is polishing off the final touches on a $37 million renovation project.

The grand reveal includes a new Gulf of Mexico oil rig exhibit where divers give presentations from inside the tank while visitors ask questions via communication system. Don't miss the Flower Garden Banks exhibit and the Caribbean exhibit, which even has the wreckage of a pirate ship.

Don't walk the plank; it all opens to the public May 27, 2017.
