National Shootout Championship Races Through Clear Lake in Seabrook

The adrenaline-charged 2017 Texas Outlaw Challenge brought speed boats and their captains from all over the nation together June 21-25 to vie for the coveted Top Gun Award. For this 10th anniversary event, the venue moved to the calmer waters of Clear Lake in Seabrook, declaring the entire lake a no-wake zone. With engines screaming and fans cheering, we captured the boats shooting through a three-quarter mile-long course at high speeds on the morning of June 23.
