Rave Gone Medieval: Middlelands 2017

Renn faire meets rave flair at Middlelands 2017.
The newest festival on the block, Middlelands, is now in our rearview mirror, and the local electronic-music scene is changed forever. The hallowed grounds of the Texas Renaissance Festival were tricked out May 5-7, converted into a cutting-edge immersive stage production that did medieval proud, courtesy of Insomniac and C3 Presents.

The stage shined bright with performers like Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, Seven Lions and Houston's own Fat Tony, with plenty of off-stage entertainment including 24-hour food trucks, cyber-wenches, camping and Knight Owl After Parties.
