Since 1953, the Sacred Heart Society, a Catholic men's organization on the near north side, has been serving a spaghetti lunch every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Thursday, Skinner Pasta donated the spaghetti as part of their 100 Years of Mealtime Memories essay contest. Former Houston Press food critic Robb Walsh was on hand to promote the contest and sell copies of his new book Texas Eats. PHOTOS BY ROBB WALSH
